At DIMDEX 2018, the International Maritime Defense Exhibition & Conference in Qatar, the Turkish Company Nurol Makina signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatar's special forces to supply its NMS 4X4 armored vehicle.
Last year, Nurol Makina has sold many armoured vehicles including Ejder Yalcin 4x4 armoured personnel carrier and NMS 4x4 armoured vehicle equipped with an unmanned Anti-Tank Missile Launching turret designed and manufactured by the Company Aselsan and anti-aircraft missile launching station.
The Turkish Company Nurol Makina has unveiled its new 4x4 tactical protected vehicle called NMS at IDEF 2017, the International Defense Exhibition in Turkey. The design of the vehicle is based on a monocoque body.
The Nurol Macina NMS has a length of 4.9 m, a width of 2.4 m and a height of 2.1m. The vehicle can carry a total of 9 people with seats for the driver and commander at the front and a second row of seats for three people. The rear cabin can also accommodate four passengers facing each other.
The design of the vehicle offers the possibility to increase the protection depending on mission requirements using scalable armour and composite materials. The vehicle has a total weight of 10,000 kg.
