There could be just any of the below scenarios
1. Its could be a typo, they meant dual seater Jf-17B
2. Could be a project name for AZM or prototype

It is, they are referring to the two seater.

Although with lackluster results from an EW J10, the idea of a dedicated twin engine EW platform is still on the cards.
What about JH7?

How can it have 2 engines and still be called just JF-17 Thunder?
Because the additional engine will require additional internal fuel provisions.
That means more space has to be added, further meaning, wings will have to be redesigned as the C.G. would get resituated.
All this means that we are getting a completely new design.
Will need to get re-designated as a Super Thunder or maybe even as a JF-18 or something similar.

IMHO ... it is a typo. They meant two-seater but printed twin-engined.

Well as long as sarkari babu did half the job, it's all good. Meanwhile defense enthusiasts go into overdrive.

And inlets geometry change too, to not suffocate engine. Have to have adequate airflow for optimum burn/thrust. With an additional engine the whole aircraft's geometry changes (software included)

I don't think its possible to add one more engine to an existing (single engine) fighter jet without a new design.

Meanwhile:
