There is little point really. As long as the existing borders are properly maintained and patrolled then there shouldn't be any real need. 003 is right in that we need to concentrate on them entering by air or sea. This is how someone would likely enter if they did not want to draw attention to themselves.

But the borders are not properly patrolled and maintained. The southern one is wide open. Most Americans (errr, NORTH Americans) agree that there are too many people spilling across that border now and that they have been for so many years it doesn't bear thinking on.
Democrat and republican leaders alike say one thing to the American people (NORTH American people) and then do another.
It's become more than obvious that our government has a deep relationship with what's coming across the borders, whether it's drug traffickers, future voters or now and future terrorists.
If such a wall were built, it would just be an expensive ruse, as our government would surely make certain there were plenty of ways under, over or around it.
