UN Blacklists Saudi Arabia For Killing Children Then Reverses Decision

On June 2 Saudi Arabia was upset when they found out that its military coalition in Yemen was on a UN blacklist of armed groups and States that committed "grave violations" against children in the course of armed conflict.

After public criticism by Saudi Ambassador to the U.N, a spokesman for Ban Ki-Moon announced that Saudi Arabia would be removed from the list.

Amnesty International wasn't happy with the reversal of that decision.

The credibility of the United Nations is on the line after it shamefully caved in to pressure to remove the Saudi Arabia-led military coalition from the UN’s list of states and armed groups that violate children’s rights in conflict, Amnesty International said today.

Strange that Israel, the U.S and other nations that have killed children aren't on that list.

That's how the world affairs a conducted. There are the chosen few who can do anything they please and not get sanctioned as opposed to many less privileged countries who are sanctioned at the drop of a hat and I have to wonder how long this hypocrisy and inequality will continue to prevail.

The UN is useless organization and in need to be reconstructed. Its funny that the group Saudi Arabia and its allies are currently fighting in Yemen are on the blacklist of the UN then Saudi Arabia was put on blacklist and removed recently. Can you imagine both parties are on the blacklist.
