All eyes are on China and Russia if they will abide by the sanction of the United Nations on North Korea. The Security Council passed a unanimous resolution that all countries must inspect cargo in all airports and sea ports destined to and from North Korea. Further, the ban restricts the export of coal, iron and iron ore plus some other minerals from North Korea. Also there is a ban on supplying aviation fuel to North Korea.

I know that China is still going to send Barges full of all these materials to NK at night. So, these sanctions really mean nothing. And any other stringent action will get vetoed by China, I am sure of that.

I don't believe these sanctions will be honoured by China and Russia. One of the reasons why North Korea is able to operate the way it does is that it enjoys the backing of China and Russia and I don't think that the imposition of these sanctions by the UN will result in any of these two countries maintaining any meaningful embargo against South Korea.
