The US state department has notified Congress that it intends to sell 50 F35 fighter jets to the United Arab Emirates, after Israel agreed last week to drop its objections. The notification sent to Congress on Thursday indicated sales could reach $10bn.

50 is a big number. What would be then the number if KSA decided to buy the f-35?

I would imagine at least 70 +,

as Trump would say, "It's going to be big, bigger than you ever seen, Giant and beautiful"

Not before 2025 for sure. The F-15SAs order have not been fully delivered.

I think sooner than that, at least contracts signed and approval from Congress.

There are some technical details blocking the deal with Saudi Arabia and unlikely the deal is going to get through.

If they sell them to the UAE, it will be very difficult for any administration not to sell to SA, maybe there are bigger hurdles than I am familiar with, but again my thoughts are if they sell to UAE, SA will be soon to follow.

Sure thing but Saudi Arabia is not agreeing with Lockheed Martin in a number of areas and the requirement put forward by Saudi Arabia was not welcomed by LK.
