Breaking news coming out, some strikes were reported earlier today. Now the White House is confirming an aerial campaign will be launched over there. As far as we know, against ISIS controlled areas.

I hope none of these are civilians, if they are civilians this shows we are using unnecessary disproportionate force.

Translation:

Strikes hit a building complex, not a camp. Most people in the building were Tunisian. Around 43 killed. Some women and children among them. And one Jordanian among them who was an ISIS member. Many of the killed were Libyans in the area. ISIS figures hiding in the building and the US are partners in crime for allowing this tragedy to occur.

So ISIS is not only in Syria and Iraq but also in Libya. Isn't it a ploy to dilute the focus of the US forces in Syria? It is not good to have forces in Syria and Libya at the same time, that's like distributing the strength. Saudi Arabia had just cancelled their $3B military funding support to Lebanon in order to concentrate their resources in Syria. So it is possible for ISIS to make their move in Libya just to get attention and ease the fighting in Syria.

There are also reports of French soldiers on the ground.

Most probably French special forces.

French troops in Libya’s Banina airbase

Lieutenant, Faraj Aqeim, the Head of the so-called Special Forces for Fighting Terrorism and Corruption, affiliated with Dignity Operation, has condemned the “French occupation” as he confirmed that about 180 French soldiers are present at Banina airbase and Bu Utni fight axis.

On Facebook, Lieutenant Aqeim, expressed that he denounces enlisting the occupational powers’ assistance into Libya. “Those who are responsible for bringing these French soldiers to Libya should reconsider their actions and try to fix the situation.” He remarked.

Formerly, reports got heavy about possibilities of the presence of UK and US troops in Libya as part of training missions in Libyan military camps and airbases controlled by renegade General Khalifa Hafter.
