THINK TANK: SENIOR
Your army needs to etablish a buffer zone, that's the only way to avoid rocket attacks,or even infiltration inside saudi territory.
I wonder why didn't you guys interveine inside Yemen, because wars have showed us that you can't win a war with airstrikes only, but also need soldiers on the ground.
You cant create a buffer zone in a mountainous area. You will have to create one behind the enemy line and fight them from behind. There is no reported infiltration attempt. The issue is that they are small in number hiding in caves and ground holes. There will be a ground intervention for sure but once the right time comes. Right now we are working from behind I mean in the south, center, eastern part of the country so that people of Yemen get hold of places that are under Houthi control and we have been successful so far. Airstrikes are not meant to win the war but have objectives that are mostly achieved.
No heavy arms (Missiles, Anti-craft weaponry, air defense systems, arm depots, check points)
No supply routs (routs used for moving supplies from to x-y places)
No command and control center (communication and coordination centers)
Remember is not the Houthis that are fighting but also ex president Saleh loyal army.
