Houthis fire ballistic missile toward Mecca

Yemen's Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile toward Mecca on Thursday, the Saudi-led coalition intervening in Yemen's civil war said on Saudi state news agency SPA.

Coalition forces destroyed the missile 65 km (40 miles) from the holy city without damage and retaliated against the launch site inside Yemen, the statement said. Mecca is home to the most sacred sites in Islam, including the Grand Mosque.

The Houthis confirmed the launch of a Burkan-1 ballistic missile into Saudi Arabia in a statement to their official news agency on Friday but said it targeted King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the kingdom's busiest airport.

The group controls much of the North of Yemen including the capital Sanaa along with its allies, forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Let's see what is the reaction of Muslims worldwide be.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it will consist of nothing. Only uneducated and exploited Muslims will be dragged into the quagmire that has persisted and will continue to persist, damaging more neighboring nations soon. For educated Muslims, they are not enthusiastic about this ethnic/nationalist tug of war for control of the region, between two rich and influential nations, but more importantly, two nations that exert religious authority over Sunni and Shia Muslims, treating non-Saudi/Iranian Muslims as slaves of their national agenda, using religious scholars to fool them into being submissive to their agendas, and assigning them as cannon fodder in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and elsewhere.

You guys(locals), and Iranians, will have to take this up on your own. And the blame card is not going to change anything at this point. It looks like this war of attrition will only continue, and more people will be killed, maybe Saudi Arabia will be dragged into something, we don't know. But, at this point, people are withdrawn, not sure what to suggest, nor want anything to do with what's going on. And no way will they go and die, nobody did anything for the Jerusalem holy sites, no one will do anything for Makkah. They will watch and wait to see what happens. A military draft is not going to reverse decades of psychological damage and political and social incompetence. It simply won't.

Saudi Arabia is a target here, because of it's treasure, which has tremndeonous influence on the world, not it's oil, rather in the form of a religion known as Islam. The decisive hour is approaching, that is, Saudi Arabia will be a target and disintegrate, whether by external or internal influences, because there is overwhelming interest in world to determine a path for the Muslim community, and this interest also comes from Muslims themselves. Right now, the Muslims lack guidance, there is educational and humanitarian crisis, they are going to collapse sooner or later, hence the world wants to just get it over with soon, and hence why Saudi Arabia will run into turmoil.

When it does, the discussion for the narrow minded masses will be about the global implications of such events, for the minority which looks deeper than that, it will be time for God to prove himself, and prove that his revelations have truth to them, and that the world is entering the new era of change, and that Islam is the truth. If that is not established, there will be mass defection among Muslims from Islam, and the people will write it off as a man made religion and embrace democracy and secularism.

This is exactly how it will play out, and it will be good for the world, either way. It's needed more than ever. And what Iran is doing to accelerate this process, is probably for these exact reasons. Curiosity and uncertainty are contributing to serious implications, and hence it is time to deal with these insecurities.

So to my Saudi's brothers and sisters, you are going to become victim to coincidence, and like others in history, there's no running away from it. *_*
