Haseeb's pic leak came after people like us were screaming: "PAF pilots regularly train PLAF pilots, and have fine tuned their strategic and operational doctrines"

As these pilots who have been embedded with PLAF rise through the ranks, the need for a twin heavy fighter becomes more and more acceptable.
It is not just Haseeb, but peoplelike Muradk as far back as 2006 advocating twins for PAF. So there has always been a need for a twin in PAF. The need is there today as well but as I have said theee are quite a few things not quite rightwith the J15 leak. Let us wait and see. Ic gou are in London contact me I will treat you to dinner and baklaw in any case.

I think post Feb19, PAF realised the state of its opponent plus the need of being offensive versus defensive mindset. This coupled with CPEC protection has opened the doors to Js coming to PAF at most probably very favorable cost (if any).

It is a win win for China. Paying for these planes is next to nothing at having India now have to worry about their southern flanks.

If we get a couple SSNs with one atleast stationed in Bay of Bengal, India would have to divert not only Air, air defense, but Naval assets as well.

maybe, they will be eager to battle with that price.
Thier economy is already in trouble, a ltd skirmish, as per their planing, could turn into a disaster for them.

I am not sure where do people get this notion that PAF is a defensive force?

IT IS NOT!

Just because our military leaders are not insane or talk out of their ass like the neighbours, it does not mean their war-fighting strategy is defensive.

It was forced to go defensive but in the past decade+ PAF has built an excellent offensive capability.

PAF was and is a professional air-force and it is an air-force that adapts and masters new skill and challenges quickly.
