There is no news yet on Block 1 and 2 upgradation and why the hell would PAF upgrade a freshly manufactured Bravo squadron again with a radar?

Does the current Klj-7v2 come as free garbage ? It also comes with a price, They just throw it off in just not even an year and no operational history ?

I am being rational. Upgrading BLOCK I and II with AESA and improving their engine with Russian help is part of the upgrades planned for them. Only question is when it would happen. My information suggest it would start with BLOCK I and not much time left from us starting the upgradation. As for answer India in my opinion will eventually go for more than 100 Rafales in total. Also either Grippen or F 18 or MIG 35 will be bought by India eventually. And they would also take Israeli help to develop their very own Medium Weight Jet.

What I know is AESA upgrade is part of upgrade planned for BLOCK I and II. First info I had was that upgrades would begin after all BLOCK III which we want to have will be delivered to Pakistan Air Force but now I have reports which suggest that we may go for upgrades without waiting for all BLOCK III to be delivered
