The Church Protection Act is signed into law by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant on Friday. It will allow some members of churches to undergo firearms training so they can provide armed security for their congregations. Those designated can carry guns into church buildings and also allows people to carry holstered weapons without a permit.
