If the deal goes through as we are discussing it for New Vipers, we need not go to Turkey for upgrades, Having new ones is much greater deal than the upgrades so it will not be a Problem , plus it has been told many a Times by Khafee that;

Agree, it will be illogical. So I think it should be understood that any upgrades made to current Viper Fleet or Future ones especially as u said from EDA will be done by US.

Most probably upgrades will be done in US.

That will must, but if due to Afghan deal usa have soft on Pakistan, pakistan can plan for aesa radars for our existing fleet as add on in low cost

I think even if there will be upgrade it will done by Grummans not by turkish aerospace beacuse after COVID crisis first priority of US is US companies and jobs. Look what they did with Philippines case didn't allow to release engine for T129 instead offer them to buy US Helis?

If I am not mistaken Pakistan wanted to upgrade all F16s at Kamra but Uncle Sam said no. So we picked Turkey.
Pakistan is always worried about sending equipment to the USA and getting it stuck there . Remember when during Kargil French embargoed our Mirages . I will be wary of sending equipment to the USA unless we have good assurances.

US companies can do upgrade and US priority is them not turkey also there is fokker from Holland they do too.
