Sir i think it would cost a lot. 75 engines in fleet jets and extra ones reserve for emergency change. So buying 100 new engines is big ticket item for PAF. Plus staff training on a new engine, developing technic for operation by pilots. Its nightmare to replace all odd engines of fleet,which are near to the end of their service life.
Its better to invest that money in local R&D for jet engines and metallurgical study of crystal blades of engine turbines.

A 1000 mile journey start with a single step. So we need to start engine development program, slowly and steadily Insha'Allah we will gain some experience in developing engine. Might be that would not be parallel to GE but enough for our own use.

PAF would prefer PW powered airframes for V update so likely try to procure Blk 42 EDA to upgrade due to familiarity with the powerplant.
Ideally get the 20 odd BLK 52 from EAF if they are willing to part with them. Those once upgraded will be classified as V/Blk72.

New built aircraft will only be GE F110 powered Blk 70.
