F16s with Aim 120D by name is enough deterrence to keep any Feb 2019 like event away. India will not take us on then. For next few years India will have limited rafales, while if we buy, say atleast 100 D version missiles from US than we will be dominating them from North to South. Not just Vs but other blocks of our F16s fleet will be capable as well to fire them.

Anyways @Khafee and others, do you guys have any info regarding this purchase as well along side fighter planes.

EDA is the abbreviation for "Excess Defense Articles"...
...this basically means all the extra equipment that is being stored around the US. When a country buys EDA anything...they(US) get it from the bone yard...inspect it, upgrade it as necessary, test it, etc.

USAF went for upgraded F-15, instead of blk-70.
