Sir just a question out of curiosity! If we are receiving a batch of J-15 in let say 45 to 90 days then they must be from fresh batch which Chinese were producing for some time now and if they are from fresh batch then they must have latest avionics almost j16ish level.

If above is true then our neighbors must be in for a big surprise.

I agree, I think the planes will be J-15 in name only to circumvent Russian opposition to the sale as contract violation. But will incorporate various "modifications" from J-16 as well. The planes most probably won't have the folding wings and structurally strengthened landing gear that is needed for carrier operation. That will make it less complicated and lighter. I also forsee a nice chinese powerful AESA and all chinese armaments.

Sir, No offense but I for the time being i don’t think if what you are saying about 15 J-15s means them being new. I read somewhere that J-15B has been speculated to enter production But Only this year. Most probably they will be used ones.

Well, Lets see what comes of it. There are too many possibilities to even draw conclusions

Like I said, Too early to draw out possibilities, you will be right as well, I hope so IA, No reason to not believe you and I wasn’t rejecting your claim, I was discussing the possibility of its content and variant and all...

When you first said about J-15 some months ago, I still believed that what you said has logical weight as well given the Soviet Ukrainian origin of SU-33 design and how China doesn’t need Russia’s permission to resell J-15 design...

When it happens IA, It will be a nightmare for India, Given the variety of customization China provides... It will be a dream come true.

Plus, 15 units are almost nothing for China, They have greater ambitions In this region and Indian ocean as well as CPEC, 15 J-15s are nothing, So another reason to believe this claim.

But let us all stay this discussion for a while to respect the Armed forces and their plannings.
