The main reason why Pakistan didn't acquire Any large twin engine jets is the geography of Pakistan
We are a very narrow country with Indian air based dotted not far from our borders, all along
the border.
A large scale Indian air force attack involving 300+ jets and a wholly of Cruise missiles will be unstoppable and all Pakistani air bases will be bombed within 20 minutes of the assault.
Practically putting PAF out of action.
Then PAF will have to use highways as runways and large jets are not suitable for that.

In theory it's a possibility.
50% available SU-30 . Then the migs and mirages.
PAF has a policy of flying all available jets within 15 minutes of Indian attack as was done on 26th February.

This can only mean one thing.....

War is coming....

War can start today, tomorrow, in 100 days, in 1000 days, in 10000 days, but it will surely come one day. There are always 101 reasons to start a war.

Problem is the mentality that always argue there would be no war, because we have nukes and we don't need this and we don't need that.

And Sir @Khafee, is the same not true for Iran vs Arabian Peninsula? After total economic disaster, last card in Mulla's bag would be diversion to external conflict, and that's for sure is a full scale war against Arabian Peninsula.

What about Israel? Why don't they think on that line?
How are the Indian runways safe from Pakistani and Chinese hits, and why they have twin engine jets?

twin engine jets never use high ways,,,,and Pak will use them for Naval arm...may be a new remotely located Air base for Gawadar -CPEC

Israel has a very robust ground based air defence missile system, covering all altitudes. Pakistan doesn't have that luxury. Enemy planes can avoid Pakistani SAM s by simply flying high.
India has big jets because they have to defend a very large area from ladakh to Andaman.
PAF don't have to cover such large distances

dedicated Naval Air Arm requires heavy platform ....to carry different anti ship /sea based weapons....so jet should have larger payload capacity with long endurance....

Indian/US have already started saying that Chinese naval base is being built near Ormara/Gawadar area....and they will lable these machliyan as Chinese assets in Pakistani colours.
