So simple was it, keep Germany and US out.
A student gets a lot of practical work from companies
and a student gets little to zero practical work from any company.

One has practical knowledge and one has theoractical. Whose knowledge would be better?

Like I said, practical work is aplenty in the US and aggressively encouraged for students. You get credits for it. But it's a very capitalist, so you're expected to go and find work on your own.

US universities are overrated. I graduated from one. They let you work your ass off and then steel your work with no reference to you whatsoever.

So the ranking is just an advertisement. Real thing is knowledge, which keeps a student relevant in his professional career.
One should search for facts when taking or suggesting somebody else an admission to higher education institute.
