HORUS will take over the existing airframes and slowly and gradually the older airframes will be replaced with these new aircrafts, thats what i think

Those Mirages will first undergo rebuild and then it will be decided what to cannibalise and what to turn into scrap. I think we should end the Glorious chapter of Mirages in PAF they will exit gracefully from Service and forever be part of the PAF's historic Lore. This addition of JH-7 was clearly planned way ahead of time and hopefully its going to be a surprise when announced officially.

JH7 is a BOMB TRUCK.

It is as if you have a Ground attack specialized F-15.

Even as a BVR Truck, And the use of AWACS or other fighter’s radar to get a lock, JH7 could launch the truck load of BVRs or Anti Ship missiles on any Indian Navy/Air force asset.

In simple words, IAF and IN with all their numerical superiority, Are going narrow

And a lot more not just a bomb truck.

Imagine this beast with these EW pods loaded with Ra'ads and CM-400AKG , on a bombing mission escorted by J-15P, taking on S-400

Suddenly i feel sorry for India, they seem helpless in front of PAF with all these recents inductions and god know what will come in few weeks.

PAF/PN will be able to attack indians secondaries bases deep Inside india from South/Indian Ocean.

In my humble opinion ...
Flying Shark J-15B/D will be the kingpin big brother of the PAF.
It won't be too numerous.
It will lead air superiority, escort, strike and EW missions.
Supported by Flying Leopard JH-7AIIs on the strike and BVR assault roles.
The J-10s will be primarily complementing the Vipers with AESA and act as a lower operating cost add-on to the J-15s.

The exact picture will unfold when more details are revealed.

I think Mirages still have their place. I see F7s time coming soon. We still need numbers even after all these new additions...and Mirages will still be good in their role.

F7s with good enough framelife n in good decent numbers will b squeezed to the maximum since v just don't have enough numbers to start replacing mirages as they r the MOST DATED airframes out there with PAF at the moment.
