PressTV-‘Attacking Iranian aid ship will spark war’

A senior Iranian commander has stressed that attacking the Iranian aid ship heading to Yemen will “ignite the flames of war” in the region.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri made the remarks in an interview with Arabic-language news channel al-Alam on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia, the United States, and their allies must keep in mind that if they want to block Iran's humanitarian aid to the regional countries, “they will start a fire which they cannot put out,” the commander added.

“I clearly announce that the self-restraint of the Islamic Republic of Iran has its limits,” Jazayeri stated.

Iran’s Nejat (Rescue) cargo ship, containing 2,500 tons of much-needed aid, including food, medical supplies and tents, left the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas for Yemen on Monday.

On April 28, Saudi Arabia forced an Iranian cargo plane carrying medical aid and foodstuff for people in Yemen to return.

The Iranian aircraft, which had earlier received permits from Omani and Yemeni aviation officials to cross into Yemen’s airspace, could not land at the Sana’a International Airport, as Saudi warplanes were violently striking the runway of the airport.

The development came less than a week after Saudi warplanes intercepted another Iranian airplane, carrying humanitarian aid to Yemen, and prevented it from entering the Yemeni airspace on April 22.

And openly states that it intends to assist Shias in conquering Saudi Arabia. Intercept the stupid ship, right now they believe you're cowards who won't do it. Which is why they're making threats. If you intercept they will be given another shock and will back down.

If they want a war give them a war. You have whole Arab world behind you. Either intercept the ship or do no fly zone in syria NOW. Stop giving them opportunity to ship their weapons into Yemen to aim them at you again. It's very urgent that you stand up to them or act in Syria because Iran isn't going nowhere if we just sit and watch it out. we know that. and thats what the GCC leaders are saying to the US in camp david. we can play the game but we wont sit and watch if US and iran cross red lines. its not a secret that while bush and iran were attacking each other on TV they were planning together the attacks on afghanistan and iraq. they made documentary about it with iranian president, ambassadors and officials from US and iran. no secret here. the shia arabs have to watch that documentary to understand not us cuz we know.

as for the ship. the latest news, few minutes ago, they agreed to stop in Djibouti. as i said the propaganda and their threats are meant for the poor Iranians and their followers. not us. they want show off and show their ppl that they are a "mighty" country lol
as one retired egyptian officer said.. if they do a mistake we will not sink their warship we will tow them to our ports and put their ships in a museum to humiliate them LOL
