The blasphemy law is contradictory to islam in itself. We are supposed to counter ignorance with knowledge not our own ignorance. This is how like in some countries eating in public is a crime during Ramadan. Why? Why is that a crime? Are they so weak in their faith that they cant stand anyone eating infront of them? Hypocrisy all around and this is killing the religion.

Sir I respect difference of opinion but no one has answered my question about hangings under blasphemy or permanent actions taken against Roshni aur Ganda handlers. On other side yes we should counter ignorance with knowledge, may be Asiya Massih was ignorant but people running mentioned pages were not ignorant and trails for their foreign funding were there still they are free.

I suggest that the blasphemy trials should be handed over by Shariah court , the judges there should be one each from mains sects along with a senior judge with clean track record from conventional courts. If accused is an ignorant or do not have such mental level should be educated. Meanwhile well educated people intentionally doing blasphemy should be dealt by iron hand.

Uhm no. That law should be abolished completely and people should be tried for hate crimes. The people you mentioned were if I'm not wrong involved in hate crimes. So there that's your answer.
