But notice what you stated before
Germany is accepting the most legal refugees in Europe. Other countries need to help.
The keyword in your statement, LEGAL. their refugees are legal. We don't get refugees that much here. We get illegal immigrants. Refugees are one thing. Those can be accounted for and the majority of them are not leeching off the system. They have the ability to legally get jobs and pay into the system. Illegal immigrants are working under the table and so they do not put into the system and they receive benefits on top of that because there is no record of them working. So they are pulling from the system.
For example. John and his family move to Nevada. They are illegal immigrants. They get on welfare and food stamps and WIC (for those who do not know what WIC is, it is a program providing women with infants and children with free food items per month plus formula and baby food). They receive 2000 USD cash a month plus 1000 in food stamps a month. Plus they receive WIC. So they in all are receiving approximately 4000 USD in assistance a month. John gets a job working for approximately 800 USD cash every 2 weeks, but because it is under the table... he gets that in cash and no one knows about the money. so now they have 4800 a month to live off of. Now if John was legal, his benefits would be cut off or reduced drastically and taxes would be taken out of his pay check to feed into the system, but because he is illegal.... all that is his and he is not being taxed. That is where the issue is. They need to cut off all support for illegal immigrants and give them ability to become legal immigrants. Once they become legal then they can get support again only under the restrictions and guidelines that citizens are living by. That way we ensure we get less leeches on the system and gain more people paying into it instead.
