I learned on manual transmission first so not a big deal even after not driving one for 20 years. I just got a manual Mazda3 as my commuter car. I am enjoying manual transmission especially in hilly Seattle streets. Seattle has some areas just as steep as San Francisco.

Good choice man, did you get the hatchback one? Whichever one that's a fun and reliable commuter car. It would be my first time driving one but I honestly think I can learn quickly without distractions. I really want to take opportunity now while young and healthy to learn how to drive manual. The automatic commuter cars I've always driven are getting boring tbh.

No just standard. My friend was selling one for 1200. It was a spur of moment deal.

My first car was a free departing gift from S/L Jahanzeb . He was doing his post doc in Cleveland and a night before leaving he offered me his old Tarcel.

I was so excited and just ran to pick up keys from him and got in MY first car. It was a really cold night and the first sign of trouble was that the heater was spitting out cold air.

Me and my buddy Mohsin were like no problem we will get it fixed.
next it was standard and I knew very little about driving standard. Somehow we managed and got on the highway.

soon certain parts of my body froze completely and I realized there is a cold draft coming from under my feet area. I looked down while driving and to my horror I realized that I was stairing at the highway road.... there were huge holes at the bottom.

I was now really scared that if I took my feet off pedals I might touch the highway and loose my feet.

somehow we made it home and placed a thick cardboard to cover those holes.

The next morning our 85 year old Italian land lord started banging on my door.
Apparently the car leaked oil on his drive way and he was furious. I was like shit who is going to clean this. Some how I managed.

My neighbour suggested that I take the plates off and leave the car on the road side and our brothers will strip and steal it.

I prefer to end my story here.... the car was found abandoned on the side of the highway ...

In 2003, I got an old 1987 BMW 528 manual transmission from my BIL while I was studying in Minnesota. Car had no handbrake (emergency brake for the umrikans) and AC/Heater needed repairs. Further the fresh air vents were permanently open so if you went over 35 miles, frigid cold minesotta air would rush in to give you a frostbite. But the engine was solid even with 287000 miles on it. I drove it multiple time Minneapolis to Chicago and back (sometimes wearing 2 gloves and thick woolen cap). Ah the good old days. I had a aircraft style chock that I would wedge under the wheel if I parked on the slope :)

My father had a near identical story with an 80's Honda accord, the same thing with the hole on the ground, but it caught on fire on the freeway while he was on a roadtrip with his friends. He did have a toyota celica which he says was one of his favorite cars, reliable and fun.

The mess that most of these are needed for is your governments fault to begin with. How about you start to look within for the accusations most of the world puts on you. Stop staring at FOX all day like a zombie.
Yes, nobody else has any fault in anything, it's all the US's fault, all the troubles in the world.

It's amazing how you guys point out brainwashing of the Chinese and north Koreans but yall dont look at yourself and see how brainwashed you guys are. Sorry to burst your bubble lol

Bro feel free to post and share ideas. Why start digging who is who? Its pretty irrelevant to ask such questions. i noticed you are saying same things on Pakistan defense. Let's move on bro...no need to dig too hard.
Besides, Blacklight is a Pakistani. Khafee is an Arab.
