A nation that is held hostage by a minority, cant be taken seriously anymore. On the technical side, the Blk62 is still more advanced than the JF-17 Blk3.

They saw the JF-17, and they saw the lack of vision as well. There was NO OBOGS, or a twin seater, for one, an issue which was only resolved recently.
Hi,

I did not say to get the JF17---. What I meant was to get involved in the engineering side of the program---on the "how to build" side.

Would have been ideal if at least two engineers were involved and a token gratuity invested into the program. A perfect scenario of learning from 3.5 gen and going thru 4 gen to 4.5 gen---a great opportunity missed---.

Their best bet for the 5th gen program is pakistan---.
Their best bet for their own 4.5th gen can also be Pakistan + UAE + Saudia
No shortage of resources + no shortage of skills + no shortage of experience. It's win win for everybody.

hi

leave the ‘hostage’ situation aside, the focus should have been on technical skills that you could get out of it.

but then when you are a rich nation and have people waiting in line to sell yu what you want, it is difficult to think to join a poor mans program.

but then no one anticipated this radical change of events to take place and all the muslim nations weak and on their knees.

some are so far destroyed that they may never find their past glory.

That's what I also meant sir. Their input is also required and that is only money at the moment. Pakistan's input can only be skills. Result can be a relatively quicker 4.5.
Just technical skills without building something would be like theory without practice.

Most probably wolf will hunt the next sheep in the herd, before they can sit and even think of a combined 4.5 or 5 horns. It's already too late for sheep herd. History was telling them loud but they never wanted to learn.
