I was watching the news today of Iraqis parliamentarians weeping over Soulaimani inside the Iraqi parliament. I thought Iraqis have changed hoping for a better Iraq but I was wrong they still kiss the mullah's ass. Have not they got some brain to see the situation Iran living in? Do they want to replicate the same living standard in Iraq?

Iraq's parliament is mostly made out of all the parties and people that fled to Iran during the Iran-Iraq war have returned after 2003 and were the main ones to take power in Iraq's new political system. The nationalists were executed under the cover of Paul Bremer's CPA-1 policy; the de-baatification campaign.

There is no hope with this parliament, government or any of the existing political parties. The army is made out of people whom genuinely sacrificed to keep the country intact, they should not be serving this terrorist government.

They are bro, lots of them got killed brutally in the protests. The militias pretty much threatened the parliament members and the militias will use this as opportunity to quell demonstrations and keep their hold on Iraq. They may resort to low intensity conflict with the US in Iraq as well.

In Islam you are supposed to bury the dead pretty quickly so I don't know what's going on with this super long funeral procession. They are doing it for political and security reasons.

To show the world that the Iranian populace is sad/outraged over the loss and show the world the importance of the figure to them in order to build a case for military retaliation against the US. They are also likely trying to buy time to mobilize and prepare for a possible US strike.

Mortar hits empty area in Green Zone of Baghdad, it seems the Iraqi militias will continue this low intensity conflict approach that will mostly be symbolic as they don't want to lose control over Iraq and their ultimate goal is to bring stability back to Iraq and return of the same gov't. The US may realize what their strategy is and do more assassination strikes and try to erode ability of these factions to play big role in transition of Iraqi gov't that is occurring as a result of the ongoing protests.

It injured Iraqi civilians, because these groups are aiming to hit outside the embassy on empty fields and don't want to actually cause US casualties for fear of US reprisals. The Embassy is big and they can actually aim for it and hit it if they want but they are not going to do that for stated reasons.

If not for Iran's interference, Iraq would have gone on a certain path after 2003 and it would be a stable one. Also America's weak stance on what Iraq did after 2003 enabled it all, they switched to Obama who wanted nothing to do with Iraq which paved the full free way for Iran.

Israeli's are hoping another Gulf war erupts so they can attack Gaza and the West Bank and annex both territories while everyone is distracted. Netanyahu was egging the US and Trump administration on and now he wants to stay out of it completely and make the US deal with the repercussions.

US troops/commanders on the ground want to pull out of Iraq but Pentagon is opposed. US troops themselves don't want to fight another war in the Gulf that is intended to weaken everyone in the region except the Israeli's.
