Going public is not a mistake, plan was to malign Saudi Arabia and irk them to take retaliatory action.
This is not the first time, last time Pakistan FO refused to join IMCTC.
He was Pakistan's FM not POTUS, who can publicly threat KSA and Russia. KSA is like a big brother to Pakistan right from the start i.e. Independence. Also, if we had issues with KSA, there are diplomatic ways of communicating them.

Bajwa is the power behind pagan Imran Khan. Both have elected each other with support of Iranian mafia.

Agreed Khafee. However, I believe SMQ would never said those words without internal discussion/ approval, it might be the case where diplomatic efforts didn’t return a favorable response. Pakistan wants a stronger response from OIC and actions from Gulf states vis a vis India, announcements of huge investments in India and conferring highest awards to Modi during the time where Pakistan and India went close to war must have irked Pakistani establishment as well. Pakistanis have to think of something to bring Kashmir cause in limelight. What SMQ did might not be the best way but rather something out of desperation.
I believe in near future Modi / RSS are going to bonkers on Indian Muslims OR try to take revenge on Pakistan to keep their base happy. All I hope is this triggers some concrete actions / sanctions from Gulf states.
At the same time, Gulf states are going to do what they think is best for their economy -> Have normal ties with India.

If my house was on fire and you walked away, when your house catches fire, you honestly think I will care? Especially, after standing by you for decades?

Sir, one might wonder what did you actually do when my house caught fire ? Did you pour some water or threw coins at me to go to buy water while my house was burning to ashes?

After turning your back, a bit too late to ask this question. But you can keep on wondering.

I think there’s more into it. Otherwise who would let go of a partner like this ? And to be honest given to the current leadership & scenarios, I absolutely have no faith in any GCC countries esp KSA & UAE. Other Muslim nations aren’t far off either but those two are worse. I apologise in advance if it hurts anyone’s feeling but that’s the reality.

It is reality only according to you. One only has to look at the living standard, respect of law and order, access to education & healthcare to realize which country is worse of.

Some nations are blessed with leaders who uplift their citizens, others just build mansions and fat bank a/c's in the west.

Yep, it’s always give an take. Pakistan should have been part of the coalition against Houthis, I was seriously surprised on the theatrics in Pakistani Parliament when the Bill of being “impartial” was approved. I had the same sentiments as you, If you don’t help the brother out in the time of need, what good are you. SA had always stood by Pakistan and Pakistan armed forces should have supported Openly, period.
The only recourse I can make for Pakistanis would be that the armed forces were already stretched to limits and due to large Shia population in Pakistan, establishment did not favour the odds in getting in a conflict that would make internal security situation worse.
P.S : Sorry for the off topic posts, please move as necessary.
