- We were asked to have meeting with Modi in NYC but no act of facilitation by Trump was undertaken to relive the current Kashmir situation though in past visit of IK as well as in present visit in more than 2 occasions he offered to mediate for Kashmir

- Trump during media talk after his meeting with IK said that mutual trade would be triple in future but no FTA or Preferential trade agreement is in negotiation

So without saying anything more I believe we can assume that currently further deterioration of Pak-US relation has stop but factors that may strengthen the relations are still missing

Very well summarized but that's the case with most of the countries, look at India and USA as an example. Just few days back it was howdy modi rally where Trump and Modi addressed the crowd but then there was no agreement on the FTA. Turkey was very vocal in UN against Israel but recognizes the country and is an active business partner. Iranian parliament passed a resolution in favor of Kashmir but did not utter a word in the UN. It's a very complex situation, I have always said that in international relations there are no friends.

@Khafee does not have a crystal ball to predict the future, he is just telling the current situation and how things are proceeding. One must not forget that USA did not refuse us the F-16's the point of contention was who and how the payment was going to be made. If we had hard cash at that time we would have flown away with those planes.

Add bit more Ur country interest is Supreme protect like a jealous lover. PTI did good in one yr with proactive forgien policy Pak needs to go further engage isreal step by step will help Us long way in western capitals. Turkey is good example to follow for Pak in all domains to be progressive modern enlighten country with open heart for all.

It may appear but all the example you quoted have one thing is clear the clearity of future direction for example

- India and US would have trade agreement as it is a need for both the countries not just because of economic needs but due to geopolitocs and stratgic needs

- Turkey recognize Israel much earlier as it is a perfect match to its secular identity of the state, current Turkish policy of being vocal on issues related to two thing

To keep the Islamist segment of Turkish politics engage which is the core base of Erdogan voters, so it satisfy the need of local politics​

To secure the position of regional power for the Turkish state and its natural as Turkey not only have a strong military, local but modern defence industry, reasonably good economy and biggest of all glorified history which give rise to Turkish Nationalism, so with such past and nationalistic tendencies Turkey could never become part of EU so in short Turkisk state is building its own sphere of influence in the region which happen to be a muslim majority region with common population having a feeling supression​

And for Iran which is a country of a particular sectarian believe with the history of Persian Empire which give a crertain racial and national pride to them but with weak economy neither afford to lose a market for its oil nor could afford to lose to its neighbours n geopoitics who are by majority not only belong to different sectarian believes orther than their but are racially inferior as well (as per their understanding) so for them enemy of their potential enemy is their friend and market as well

Hi,

It should have been a separate package for a special job on the top of the list---.

@Khafee remember one thing---it is not what the weapon can do---it is what the perception of it is what it can do---.

In the good old times some 4---4 1/2 centuries ago---the muslim king in india had a cannon made for his armies---. It had a massive bore of like 12" or 14"---. It was pulled in front of the marching armies and it would play havoc with the minds of the enemies who had never seen it used but had only seen the smaller bore cannons used---and seen the havoc they would play---.

It is rumored that the opposing armies on seeing that cannon would run away from the field---. Strike mumbai and see what happens amongst the enemy ranks---.

The weapon indeed needs to have substance to it so that it can stand on its legs---that is that it has a form and function and utility---leave the rest to the fear in the enemy's heart and in the enemy's vulnerable points that it can target and that would make the enemy panic.

The form function and the utility of 3 different types of aircraft on feb 27th were an eye opener ( F16---JF17---Mirage 3/5's ) and we are not going to talk about the other players that made it possible---.

Any strike aircraft that can reach and target mumbai with heavy weapons will create havoc amongst the enemy financial brokerage houses---.
