J-10 / J-15 / J-16 = ONE platform has been agreed upon in principle, subject to further tech & financial negotiations. Which One?

My guess is that it's likely J10 because people keep saying that the Chinese can't export the SU derivatives because of some Russian clause.

Tbh any of these would be a great addition to our existing fleet. Any of these plus F16s would likely be absolutely fantastic. It would probably also send Indians into a spending spree as well.

Also isn't J15 a carrier based one?

Any hint about the quantity?

i think j 10 cuz we evaluate that jet and suggest some changes or modification and now j 10 can fulfill our demands so we are buying it.

Realistically, it will be likely be J-11 since we sought the Su30MKI's for a reason.
It won't be the J-15 since we don't have a carrier to take full advantage of it
J-16 would likely be costly considering the numbers we need to maintain.

J10 was our favourite for so long and was thoroughly tested and requested modifications to our needs.

We have been doing exercises against J10 for ever and know the plane very well.

India has no clue about capabilities of J10 compared to J16etc

Easy transition and quick integration ... brings AESA and great air to air capability .

I have read about Chinese have horrendous maintenance issues with the other two and their engines will be dictated by the Russians ....
