Russia Ups The Ante

Russia is just playing games. They're good with that. They're not trying to threaten the West, I think they're too vulnerable to start anything. They just want to "show off" arrogantly.

This. Putin just wants to exude that "He's what is Right for Russia" so he shows off arrogantly, with no sense of backbone to actually do anything. But I agree, Games.

Lets just hope that it stays that way and Putin does not ever prove his point. We are already butting heads with Russia over the Ukraine and their has always been a bit of tension between us. If it steps to far, I think a man like Putin would do something stupid and start a very bad war.

As much as he's arrogant and he wants to act like he knows what's best, I know he wouldn't start a needless war that would kill thousands, if not millions, of his own citizens. No leader really wants to see that. So it'll probably (and I say probably because I don't know the man personally) stay that way. Or so we hope.

He may just be riding on the anti-sanctions and "World view" bandwagon lately.
