A still from a video released by the Syrian rebel group Jaish al-Izzah on 16 December 2015 shows one of its fighters preparing to fire an ATGW that could be either a 9K111 Fagot or a 9K111M Faktoria, the two being externally identical. Jaish al-Izzah also uses US-made TOW ATGWs. (Jaish al-Izzah)

This intervention by the Western Countries is a major contributing factor to the instability in the Middle East. They keep on restricting the regimes that they don't like and in the process paving the way for jihadis groups to emerge and cause more mayhem than what the regime that they don't like would have. Leaders like Sadam of Iraq and Sadat of Syria were able to somewhat keep these insurgents in check, however, the undermining of these leaders by the West has paved the way for the intensified jihadist activities.
