Why the F-18s are always assigned to the navy? Its a two seats double engines multirole bird that fits all scenarios.
because their navy thought having a plane that could "do everything" was a smart choice, which in return was not a smart choice.

The US Arleigh-Burke class Destroyer is used by the US Navy and is the first US Destroyer class to use the AEGIS Combat System. The class was actually scheduled to be replaced by the Zumwalt class but instead was put back in production with updates and due with the reduction of the Zumwalt class there is no future replacement sign

US Cruiser Chancellorsville in the South China Sea

While off the Spratly islands the USS Chancellorsville it received a transmission from a Chinese frigate which later appeared along with a Chinese helicopter which circled the Chancellorsville. Following the transmission Ensign Anthony Giancana told the helicopter to switch frequencies to which there was no response. Once the helicopter returned to the Chinese frigate and the Chinese ship was in range, it transmitted..." U.S. Navy Warship 62. ... This is Chinese Warship 575". Following this was an exchange of radio chatter....

“This is U.S. Warship 62. Good morning, sir. It is a pleasant day at sea, over.”

No response.

“This is U.S. Warship 62. Good morning, sir. It is a pleasant day to be at sea, over.”

After the Chinese failed to respond a Chinese speaking Ensign, Ensign Li, was called upon to transmit a message.

“Today is a sunny day for a sea voyage, over.”

Again there was no response so Ensign Anthony Giancana transmitted two more messages
“This is like Opening Day,”

“We’ve done spring training.’’

“U.S. Warship 62, this is Chinese Warship 575. Today’s weather is great. It is a pleasure to meet you at sea.”
