Problem for India stakes are so high now 1)Already their economy in hot water and any prolong war going to effect it more (its not always about money but reputation of attracting foreign investors too ) 2)Covid 19 not only effecting economies but fighting capacities of forces and productions facilities as well 3)Their internal issues multiplied by it along with CAA,NRC protests which are on pause bcoz of it but far from over 4)Modi own political survival both as party (they lost many states in last few months and bigger one coming in Bihar in May and Bengal in Dec-JAN ) also on personal level as due to his age they are pushing for new leader for 2024 election (Yogi and Amit Shah behind it) 5)Most imp last year skirmish dented indian self projection of armed power in eyes of Pentagon (which many indian defence experts pointed out )so one more fail exercise USA gonna ditch them bcoz if they cant contain Pakistan than what hope against China.
Than comes the point from where and how india can do such (mis)adventure(by Army,Navy ,Airforce and on which sector and for what objective) as currently they are holding no good cards and their supporters Israel(internal political crisis ) and US(covid and china, plus elections) cant help up to extend.
One funny exercise they always taught us use all the same points for reverse conclusion i.e for war its will help u to view things outside box:) do share your opinion with us
Thank you for your reply @Zulu @Zeeman , I don’t think it will benefit India in any sense but then again taking sense and India are two different things. War should be avoided but some wars are to be fought. My prayers are with Kashmiris. I hope one day they will be freed as well as the Palestine.

Yesterday there was a small altercation at the Chinese border with 17 soilders suffered minor injuries. CNN has this news at the front page.

I hope you all guys noticed few major developments lately. USA is instigating and insulting China non stop. It is encouraging companies in China to leave and set up industries outside . China is not happy.

Indian economy is in a free fall. Due to their external exposures they are going to hurt massively. Almost 1.5 million foreign workers signed up to come back home.

India has put massive restrictions on Chinese foreign investment. Chinese apparently were picking up and buying companies in India taking afvantage of low valuation due to COVID.

India pissed off China by offering huge incentives and land for the industries willing to move out of China.

USA is behind all this. China getting blamed and talk of sanctions and tariffs is going to start a new political realignments . India will play the role of dance girl and try to get max benefits.

Well said brother Jazakallah. Cruelty is forbidden in Islam , even torturing not allowed to the prisoners. We should follow the prophet and the Sunnah. Not like the People of books, they follow some and they change some according to their own likings.

May Allah have mercy upon us.

The above clearly establishes the PAF AD has deployed JY-27 radars. but PAF AD has been using VERA, since 2005, and then VERA-ER. It is used in conjunction with TPS-77

2005 January 21,
04 SECSTATE 212634 Classified By: Deputy Political Counselor Mark Canning for reasons 1.4 (a) (b) (c) 1. (C) Reftel reported the request of the Czech government for the U.S. government's opinion on the potential sale of a passive surveillance system (PSS) to the Air Force of Pakistan. This cable offers additional technical and background information on the system.

@Khafee, 2 things;
Well, I read the complete cable, so what Pakistan received was it VERA & VERA - ER as they were or the down graded one
ASDD-01 ?

& secondly was it really that badass at passive detecting & that too non-conventional aircrafts that USA was worried?

Just imagine the state of Poor Czechs, they had to convince USA & downgrade their product in advertisement as well.

This is a very old trick in the book. The DFRM for the Vipers came the same way.

Sell / Lease a down graded version, then quietly upgrade it. Initially the Vipers didn't have DFRM's, but quietly they arrived, sometime later.

You see that's the thing, some will say that this is the most dangerous time then there has ever been. Their ego is shattered and are like a cornered animal. They will try to do somthing to repair their image and take pressure off their internal issues to save face.

Compare them to the Persians during the arab revolts when the armies of islam rose from the Arabian deserts.

Like the example, india will have the same fate.

Hi,

Indeed they are a generation apart but then having an F22 or an F35 radar and ew package on an F15 eagle EX would give it monstrous powers---not in the same spectrum but as close that one can get from one gen tier jump from the visible to the invisible spectrum---.
Hence why a SU-35 with J-20 Radar and avionics as well as missiles would be the epitome of 4++ Gen fighters. Best of both worlds, Combined, Stealth apart, Everything else in it.

Stealth fighters have their own drawbacks and limitations, Code of operation, To attain stealth, You have to compensate for much, Which in turn limits your mission profile.

The Russians refused, on those very terms - No Customization.

Due to these limitations of drawbacks of 5th generation, few countries skipped 5th gen directly started work on 6th generation fighter, i e France. Uk. Etc
Usa stepped production of F22 long ago, limiting production of F35 witjlh decreased price for international market, uSA working very hard on next 2 6th generation jet one for navy other for air force, entirely different agenda project.
Uk and allies working prpperly on tempest 6th generation aircraft

Main focus of 6th generation aircraft are to address shortcoming of 5th generation, by increasing speed and strike capabilities along sealth. Add unmanned option in manned aircrafts. Most importantly adding Artificial intelligence AI in aircraft to handle difficult situations and complex mission by it self.

Lastly and most importantly, making single version aircraft that can configured with modifible components in few hours to handle different operations need . One aircraft single variant for all need

Simply true 6th generation aircraft will game changer in air defense world "machine taking role of man"

What happened on 26 th shows importance of SAMs especially near hot borders. The 26 th Feb clearly shows the shortcomings regarding our AD via capable SAM network, we even have medium range SAMs only to protect particular sites. The scenario is changing we should have short to medium range batteries near all our borders only few in numbers can cover sufficient areas. Apparently we have so far done nothing apart from getting few radars from China/Others.
We should immediately get few batteries of HQ16b with 70+KM range along with HQ7 batteries should immediately deploy them along Kashmir and allied borders.

On other side after 27 th Feb Indian response is more professional one they have started to acquire long range BVR missiles along with upgrades on the fighter jet fleet. But they have immediately addressed the issue of BVRs and perhaps shall be installing encrypted secured communication systems . In next skirmish or conflict PAF shall face jets with better ranged BVRs, hard to jam radars as most likely AESA and secured communication system.

On other hand it shall be appreciable if some one can elaborate capabilities of coming J15 i. e possible AESA radar range, IRST, A2 A capabilities as certainly it has A2G capabilities.
While I agree in general about the importance of air defence networks...I would like to point out that it can be quite difficult in practice to detect enemy jets(if they are smart...and IAF is not to be underestimated) in a terrain as mountainous as the northern parts of Pak(Kashmir/LoC). These kinds of systems would be more effective in the deserts of Sindh and plains of Punjab...but in the north if we wish to increase radar coverage so no Indian jet can intrude undetected...it basically means having a constant 24/7 AWACS surveillance.
