THINK TANK
Reminds me of a video interview I was seeing of the PAF JF-17 program incharge. The program started with trying to modify the J-7. Then building something better but with the J-7 as the benchmark. Then the benchmark changed to F-16. Then the JF-17 ended up exceeding the F-16. I think in cricket we call this reverse swing doctrine...
Hi,
There was a reason for that---which I mentioned years ago---. It was to keep the attention & threat level low---.
Enemy not anticipating anything big from the Super 7 name---.
That was a marketing sabotage on the enemy---.
But do ask the ACM---why he forgot to mention the other two aircraft---the F18 and the F20 tigershark----maybe for tactical reasons---? Maybe not wanting to ruffle too many feathers---.
The level of stupidity of the enemy was also at the greatest and all the analysts on sinodef forum as well---.
When you are operating an F16 aircraft and you want to manufacture an aircraft of your own---how would it be possible for capable engineers to build something of a lower class than the one they have---.
Most youngsters---computer geeks---sharp talkers don't understand that engineering does not work like that---.
