I am curious ... what are we basing the assertion that two types of jets have arrived in Karachi? On what is this J-15 plus J-10 both arriving is based on? As far as I remember, @Khafee only mentioned that J-15 would be acquired??

@Khafee is the one who has said that in first batch 10 J 15 and 4 J 10 P have arrived

I later added that J10's were also to be inducted, and intialy this month just 4, later on full sqdns IA.

Alh there has been +ve visual confirmation by not only civilians, but our forum members as well.

Khafee stated in one of his posts that 10 J15 and 4 J10(P?) have arrived. I'm too lazy to dig it up...that's why I suggested a "pinning posts" feature...so stuff like this doesn't get buried under pages of useless posts.

Why will we even reject f16Vs at first place. We won't, we are still taking to them so that we can get them thru CSF. Talk should include aim120 D at any cost. And if you are suggesting that US will sanctioned us because we didn't accepted their F15 offer than I think your assessment is wrong. They knew for years that we only want F16s from them. F15s I believe were never requested.

A decade plus, of procurement funds have been accumulating. And contracts that were signed more than a year ago are now being delivered.

My assessment says when USA INSHALLAH sees Pakistan using J 16 and J 10 they would not only offer F 16 BLOCK 72 in good numbers but they will also put pressure on us to buy F 15 EX as well. What do you think ???

Pakistan's most advanced aircraft won't be made in USA anymore. They have proven themselves unreliable, unpredictable and moody - exactly what Pakistan doesn't want from a top-tech supplier - and especially when Pakistan will use its armaments against India who USA wants to save from Pakistan and consume against China.

USA may wish to sell something better than F-16 (which I doubt) but if their strategic compulsions make them dream to sell F-15s, Pakistan still won't go for them. It doesn't have to. Everything that Pakistan needs is now available from a reliable partner.

Unless King Salman pays for it, no chance. BUT IF PAF buys F15EX it will be because KSA + UAE are buying too. On this one, PAF will play it safe, and will never buy alone.

Btw, feel free to start a thread on this. We have an F15EX thread you can get tech details from there.

Note: As of now, no news of KSA upgrading or buying EX. Same with UAE.
