What if I assume that China is trying to establish a base in GCC ?

Now that is a debatable topic, French present in UAE, USA in KSA.

USA wouldn’t let KSA allow China establish a base in KSA neither is China stupid to do such as USA will monitor and gather data of Chinese weapons. I would also not recommend KSA for such as The giants will make the KSA a playground.

This leaves Either Oman, Yemen or Africa.

Yemen ? A good possibility, KSA and UAE reportedly achieved success at some key areas as per some news outlets, Maybe China can establish a base in Yemen, Away from USA base in KSA, Also gets support from UAE and KSA in turn these both countries can benefit from China without USA intervention.

Oman ? Definitely a possibility, Somalia ? Even greater possibility.

Base in Somalia means securing Trade route from CPEC’s Gwadar route to Africa for future Chinese ships from Somalia Pirates as well as China establishing some sort of economic zones in Africa to capture the market directly.

Folding wing will have no advantage upfront for PAF/PN, only plus point it can give that thay can fly from Chinese carriers.
if required in case and those carrier on location where these aircraft can reach there can come back. (Pakistan not going to buy or lease any aircraft carrier , thats confirmed)

Secondly in case of war pakistani pilots can use chines j15 too, what ever we give name at that time, friend support or so called leased. Main thing will thay as pakistani pilots flying them so no direct china involvement , same case as many pilots are trained on j10 on shorkot base, so in case of war Pakistani pilots can fly them too at there best

As my previous understanding of wet and dry lease is that wet is with minimum crew , and dry is just asset lease .

Like rent a car with driver in wet lease and car with out dry on rent is dry lease.

Mostly common phenomena is airlines Industry

But mapping it to aircraft carrier is not making connections in both cases it will remain expansive which is not practical for unless its free lease

They have a base in djibouti already so Somali doesnt make any sense
