Sir in my humble opinion capital must be near Dera Ghazi khan which share the boundaries with all four provinces. And near D.G Khan there is hill station which has a very good environment even in hot summer. It also far from indian border, afghan, china and iran border. And logistics and approach from all provinces mist be equal. And the plus point if capital was shifted there it make speedy development of south punjab, Baluchistan and upper sindh. Because the federal govt was very near to them so the can keep an eye on the slow developers. And military high command can also be bit safe there than the Islamabad. Even we also have put all our main military installations within 150 square kilometres. From Kamra, HIT, POF, Kahuta, GHQ ,AHQ,NHQ presidential palace. Assembly. Senate, PMA , Air Academy. Still we are saturating this area with more installation aviation city city and many more.we have to use the area of lower punjab, central Baluchistan which is more secure. And spread the all military installations in different divisions of country to prevent the damage in future wars

You r right bro. Even if we can not move all capital installation. We can only move all three forces HQ there GHQ in Rawalpindi is already too old. So we have to build a new one, then why not in Fort Munro, latter slowly we can move Air HQ there. And Naval HQ must be move near the Gwadar. Not in Gwadar but near the Gwadar in Baluchistan. Develop all the area education, medical , clean water, some industrial zone and new era of Baluchistan will lead the country on path of success. And Naval command has to come forward for this initiative. Army must take part in developing of upper Baluchistan and west punjab and next military factories of aircraft overhauling and manufacturing must be near the DG khan along with tank rebuild factory can be shifted to Khuzdar ,Kalat division. All new university under the central command with R&D Labs will bring many more thing on the table which we are buying from others at this moment.
For all these developments we can utilize the Reqo Dik gold mines. A new state enterprise can be established with help of relevant companies. And all these developments can be done in next 10 years. We have to move on, past is gone but future is still , which we can make better for our next generation. Thanks a lot

When was the last time you went to Quetta? I visited Command & Staff College long ago, and then last visit was 2yrs back. With the amount of Afghani refugees, and its close proximity to Iran and Afghanistan, having a capital anywhere in Baluchistan would be nothing less than suicidal.

ISB was the wrong choice, but it is not moving any time soon, I think we should all move on from this moot point.

Wasnt there an refugee camp in islamabd too? I dont see how we can hide from them. Honelty I think it's high time we started to incorporate them into mainstream society and Pakistanize them. They have already been so influenced that they stand out when they go back.

I say educate them, nationalize them and add them to the stock. Would be the best thing that Pakistan can do. Both strategically and humanitarian.

Do what the ottomans did and educate their children, not necessarily add them to the army but that could be a good stable career path for them too, if they choose.

New capital should be where the four provinces almost meet. Create a federally administered area that borders all four current provinces. This is approximately West of Multan.

Since when is multan anywhere near sindh? How about we take it out of Punjab for once? Punjab is already far more developed then any other province. The rest of them needed more investment then Punjab. They all need to brought to the same level.
