Its unfortunate that Pakistan is thin and long. It needs to be wider to offer any sort of protection to its assets.

@Khafee, man it must suck getting spammed 24/7. Here is one for good measure <3>

They all ask you how its doing not how you are doing :(

No issues Bro! and JazakAllah khair!

Looks like sindh needs more then just a liberation but a complete software change. Very sad state of affairs.

The deal was signed during Stephen Harper time and approved by Trudeau. The general public is not interested in this aside from bunch of globalists within Trudeau's party. That harassment led the Saudi to buy 50% stake in CMI. Also the EU giving Saudi hard time is again nonsense, France took off all German components out of their hardware so deals with Saudi Arabia can go through.

Ok few points .... yes Harper signed this deal but since then it’s been nothing but trouble. It has faced many obstacles including sanctions . Canada missed many deadlines to deliver and Saudis threatened to cancel the deal . Infact this deal was stopped and sanctioned by Trudeau and now finally some agreement is reached... it’s been six years since signing ...

.... by the way thanks for removing word nonsense in your response... let’s discuss in a friendly manner ...

And yes you are correct ..... France and England despite huge opposition continue to work with Saudis.... pretty much all other Europeans refuse to sell anything. Sweden Infact has an active arms embargo that prevents them selling Saudis anything and the reason why we can confidently say new Erieye deal is for Pakistan .

How come it has been nothing but trouble? We have received tens already. The deal has 2 billion penalty to be paid by Canada if ever decided to cancel the deal. So the LAV are continuing to be delivered as scheduled, they are about 1300 vehicles not one or two. Canada did not miss a single deadline and the delivery was supposed to take place 2 years after the deal with about ~200 to 300 a year.

Looks like the news you read in SA are censored to say the least.

Here in Canada we had a huge movement to stop any arms sales to SA. Just because Harper signed the agreement Trudeau was stuck in the deal. He had said flat out clearly he wish he could cancel the deal but unfortunately contractual obligations prevented it. From Oxfam to labour unions a lot of organizations started mass campaigns of awareness and pressure government to cancel the deal . There were protests and petitions signed by hundreds of thousands to the parliament.

Infact Canada has completely embargoed SA from buying anything more .

“But in December, as pressure mounted over the October 2 murder of Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Trudeau changed his tone, saying in an interview for the first time that "Canada is looking for a way out of the Saudi arms deal."

However, official figures show that LAVs worth more than $1bn have been exported from Port Saint John on Canada's east coast to Saudi Arabia since Trudeau announced the review in October.

Over the past nine months, Canadian officials have repeatedly stressed that no new arms export permits have been issued.”

Calls for more restrictions on arms exports have been growing, particularly in Europe, since the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Turkey last month. US President Donald Trump, however, has repeatedly pointed to the US' lucrative arms deals with the Saudis as a reason to stand by the kingdom.
Denmark and Finland on Thursday became the latest countries to suspend new arms deals with Saudi Arabia. Denmark's Foreign Ministry said it was freezing new deals over both Khashoggi and Yemen, while the Finnish Foreign Ministry mentioned only Yemen. Finland also banned new arms sales to the United Arab Emirates, which is part of the Saudi-led coalition in the conflict.
Their announcements came just two days after Germany said it was stopping all arms transfers to the kingdom.
Denmark and Finland are not major suppliers of weapons to Saudi Arabia, but Germany certainly is. It had already suspended new arms deals to Saudi Arabia, but on Monday it widened that ban to include the transfers of weapons on existing orders as well.”

Since that news Sweden and Spain are added to the list.

I am posting from Vancouver if that makes you happy and Saudi Arabia is not the mullah regime to censor the internet.

Good luck and I will be more than happy to hear the SAAB is going to Pakistan.

My friend don’t take me wrong ... I may not agree with Saudi policies but I am not against SA. They have a serious public relations and image problem. The media and human rights groups do not see occupation and genocide happening in Palestine by Israelis but have a field day crying over the murder of a CIA puppet. Hypocrisy at its best.
SA using weapons In Yemen is a problem but Israelis using every known weapon ( some Canadian made) in Gaza are perfectly fine.
