The second largest standing army in the world after China. Far from well equipped and ground attacks have become obsolete in this day and age in warfare, but nevertheless strength on the ground is important. Nobody is stupid enough to launch nuclear weapons. Well maybe North Korea or Iran. :p

From the above pictures i am really very impressed with the Indian military i feel they should keep it up. With the look of things it appears India is on the verge of becoming a major super power with the same equivalent military might.

India may have strength in numbers, but we are still lacking behind in technology. We have quantity but not the best quality out there. However things are getting better, as India is signing a lot more deals regarding weapons and defences.
