Really am happy for Turkey. Made a good decision. It also sent a message to the US that Turkey is not going to buckle down to pressure and intimidation.

Also heard from a friend that Russian oil drilling giant "Rosneft" is no longer going to deal in USD and are going to switch to Euro's.
But let's see if that really turns out to be true or not.

I don't know how to share link here I tried but I Beleive just google turkey buying SU35 and click on news u will get news. They buying 36 copies

if turkey is buying, the possibility of SU-35 flying in Pak is even higher. reasons have been posted previously ....Joint training & maintenance setup....gradual replacement & upgradation with Turkish system and so on....first Turkey will induct these birds and Pak will follow .....

I was thinking today, you, @AliYusuf @Counter-Errorist @HRK @TomCat all have good knowledge we should start a thread on PAA Rotary wing Acquisitions. Since IA it will be the Zulus that will come first.

The Vipers IA are coming first, then the J-15.

Coming to the EFT, the idea was to buy 18 used T1 and upgrade them to T3b. Plus 18 new T3b's. The Italians were very accommodating till the Turks jumped in and messed it up on the fiscal side. After that the Italians fiscal flexibility vanished, and PAF pulled back.

The recent visit of the Italians to AHQ, was to formally ask them to re-consider. But that did not happen, since the J-15 PAF version will become a reality IA.

Keep in mind, that the PAF actually floated dis-nfo about the Su-35 so they could be in a better bargaining position with the Italians, it was that serious.

T3b+ / T4 . Btw this was not offered to PAF, so in future if PAF does go for it, this would be an added bonus.
