Fair enough but to put an idea into plan he need to define it's structure and in order to implement, he need to prepare a detailed and comprehensive action plan and than post it on his website.
He was hoping to get a quick economy recovery for some reason - then do all this cool stuff he had in his head.

His head is full of shit and there's plenty of stuff that can be done without cash!
BTW, cash does not fell from sky but it comes as by product of productivity.

Smuggled into, OR out of Pakistan?

Artificial or not, there is a shortage, and people are suffering. What is GoP doing?

Smuggled in - there's lots of pumps that sell solely this smuggled Iranian petrol. Now that the shortage has shot the price up, smuggled petrol becomes profitable.

Oil companies filled up recently at ridiculous prices and don't wish to sell at proportionate rates. They are blackmailing the government by creating the shortage to get prices back up.

Government seems to be taking some action clamping down on them, but it needs to deal with the oil mafia head on

Pakistan petrol crisis was artificial, confirms inquiry report

Several petrol companies used pressure tactics and created a petrol crisis in the country, forcing people to line up at petrol pumps in huge numbers in close proximity despite the COVID-19 threat, so that the government would relent and allow them to increase petrol prices.
Petroleum Division officials completed an inquiry into the ‘crisis’ and found nine companies involved in creating an artificial fuel shortage.
An eight-member committee headed by the director-general of oil sent the inquiry report to the prime minister. Strict action has been recommended against the companies involved.

In the past couple of weeks, ever since the government approved a cut in the petrol price, people were seen forming massive queues at petrol stations across the country that complained of shortages.

They go begging to their old friends at court, even seeking to register FIRs against them.
IK's weak and they smell blood.

ISLAMABAD: An oil marketing company (OMC) has moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the newly formed fuel crisis committee and the ongoing crackdown against the OMCs allegedly responsible for a recent fuel crisis.

An IHC single-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah will take up the plea today (Thursday) which has requested the court to set aside the Ministry of Petroleum’s June 8 and 9 notifications, announcing governmental actions against the OMCs.

The petitioner has also requested the court to stop the government from taking any action against the company until the court decides the petition.
According to the OMC, the committee on June 12 summoned the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company and levelled the “baseless” allegation of hoarding and black-marketing against the company.

The OMC has nominated the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the Ministry of Petroleum, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the committee as respondents.

Petrol prices have continued to drop in the international market in the wake of coronavirus pandemic and the federal government also reduced fuel prices to transfer the benefit to people. However, there emerged a shortage of fuel in various parts of the country in June.

Last week, the federal cabinet took serious notice of this “artificial” shortage as Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the petroleum division and Ogra – the fuel regulator – to ensure supply of petrol across the country within 48 to 72 hours.

He had ordered authorities to take strict action against those responsible for creating the “artificial” shortage. On June 9, the government initiated an inquiry against the OMCs allegedly involved in whipping up the crisis and constituted a committee.

The committee, headed by the FIA Director General Oil Shafiur Rehman Afridi, comprised general manager operations of the state-owned PSO, Ogra and the FIA.

The committee was to investigate alleged hoarding and black marketing of petroleum products by the OMCs. It was also to verify availability of stocks at depots of the OMCs and their supply to retail outlets.

The committee on June 11 sought registration of cases against heads of two major OMCs for allegedly hoarding and black marketing of petrol after inspecting their terminals at Karachi’s Keamari Port.

The committee also submitted an application to the assistant commissioner of the Sub-Division Harbour of Karachi’s West district, seeking registration of FIRs against them. The committee had received complaints against the two companies.

I honestly think that Pakistan needs to introduce some very brutal and horrifying punishments...that should be carried out publicly or televised or both.

It saddens me to see such morally bankrupt behavior at EVERY level. Almost everyone seems to be engaged in some form of bribery and corruption everywhere u look. This is just one of the many levels where such greed is so shamelessly displayed...before this was the artificially inflated prices of sugar...and before that was wheat...

This "zakheera andozi" is coming from a nation that is made up of more than 90% Muslims...
...knowing full well how Islam CLEARLY forbids such practice.

If someone can publicly punish just 10 percent of these hoarders...
...like skin them alive and confiscate all their wealth(to be given to the government)...it will make the rest of the 90% such saints that they wouldn't attempt such hoarding practices for as long as they live.

Let’s start off by cursing IK .... after all any and every ill in our society started after he came in power.

Wheat was plenty , sugar in abundance and cheap , power mafia was giving electricity for free and oil distribution companies were fair and honest.

This is not the first crisis and won’t be the last. Another upcoming crisis is the wheat shortage innSindh . Bhutto mafia has already stated speeding the news that Punjabi traders are buying and shipping wheat to Punjab. What they fail to mention is that Singh government failed to purchase wheat stocks from the farmers They have no money because all the money was spent on making moseleum of Bhutto family and to feed Bhutto family in Dubai.

do you guys know who gets to buy CNG stations and petrol pumps and fuel distribution companies?

unless you have a political connection you can forget about starting any fuel related business in Pakistan.

there is no business model in Pakistan. It’s only mafia. They at their will stop and start supply business .

our only hope now is that with the wheat crisis and sugar reports out now the relevant agencies will take action against the culprits......... but wait didn’t Islamabad high court stop the government from taking any action against the sugar mafia? Isn’t it the same family friends and relatives nawaz and ZARadRI appointed as Judges ?

last I read when the government removed Punjab chief of police he went to Lahore high court and got himself reinstated again!
Same goes for many bure

sometimes I really feel like
Banging my head against the wall. If I was in charge I would have resigned , ripped my Pakistani passport and told everyone to go fuck yourself .

Nothing works in Pakistan ... everyone wants to make sure that the only honest person in charge fails and they can go back to old days of unchecked corruption.

have you ever seen IK stand up and defend his friends or coalition partners against corruption charges ? Did he scream and cry when his own ministers are exposed as corrupt? Did he pick fight over his old friend Jahangeer Tarin?

But again why not just forget all the reasons and facts and let’s just curse IK.... after all before him no reports were released and no minister faced corruption charges because Pakistan was corruption free .
