Its very risky to dig mines out of snowy places. It would be much better if mine clearing vehicles are used instead of handheld metal detector.

update on Turkish-Pakistani military cooperation
-Turkey has offered Pakistan T-129 to replace AH-1 (it might be possible sale if we make domestic engine for T-129)
-Back between May-June Turkey's TAI update 15 of Pakistan's F-16s
-Pakistan interested in Altay MBT to replace their obsolete tanks. Pakistan has interest in acquiring Thermal Imagery system and Akkor APS for their Al-Khalid MBTs.
-a contract was one to sell Pakistan 16 ASELPOD Targeting Pods for Pakistan's JF-17
-a contract was signed to update Pakistan's 3 Agosta 90B Submarines
-Pakistan interest in acquiring 4 MILGEM Vessels, if contract signed all 4 will be produced in Pakistan with Turkish help and supplied Kits
-Turkey in talks with Pakistan to develop corvette based off MILGEM for Pakistani navy
-Turkey STM helped design new Tanker ship for Pakistani Navy which was built in Karachi
-Pakistan could buy TAI Hürkuş as trainer aircraft but could also Obtain local production
-Turkey will buy 100 Super Mushshak trainers from Pakistan, but the aircraft will be fitted with TAI Avionics.

Pakistan military is walking backward. There modernization program has not been initiated yet. I hope that the support is utilized properly. On the other hand, India has gone far away and its building its army in a very scary. If a war takes place between India and Pakistan the later won't have a slight chance in pushing back.

Pakistan is heavily dependent of China in this field. I don't see how Pakistan is going to contribute to the TFX program!

the MKE Yavuz 155mm truck mounted Howitzer was shown at IDEF 17. It is said that our army has a potential interest in acquiring the system because it is cheaper and can be put on our border with Syria instead of using the T-155. The Yavuz uses the Panter field howitzer as it's main gun and in the picture there is a M2 .50 Caliber shown above the cab.

both are in the 155mm "family". The only difference I can see is the price range. see French gear is extremely expensive.

Will definitely be cost effective. I will assume its way cheaper than the CAESAR. Doesn't Indonesia make its own howitzers?
