The main thing that I hear, by people defending Muslims and Islam is that Mohammed is a peaceful god and Islam is a religion of peace.

Now I'm far from an expert on the subject but from what I've seen and witnessed, I would say its as far away from a peaceful religion as you can get.

That's disgusting !
What was his sin ? Is that because he's Christian !!

Those extremists are crossing the red lines day-by-day, every day they show us another disgusting crime .I don't know when they're gonna stop that !

It's interesting that you say that when you seem to be from Saudi Arabia. How do you feel about all the funding ISIS has received from Saudi Arabia?

It's undoubted that the media plays a major role in the formulation of people's concepts and minds, but I think everything is clear now. Saudi Arabia doesn't fund ISIS ! and Saudi Arabia consider ISIS as "terrorist group ".You may don't know that ,but ISIS is always threatens Saudi Arabia and the entire GCC because they're consider us " non-Muslims " (the gov. and the people, too) because of our relations with the west and other non-Muslim countries |0|. 6 or 7 months ago, they attacked our borders with Iraq and killed 1 Gen. and 2 soldiers from our border guards .Moreover, how can Saudi Arabia support ISIS while we joined to world coalition against ISIS in Syria and Iraq ? that's unbelievable .

BTW,they do all their crimes by the name of Islam and Muslims while they don't represent neither Islam nor Muslims !
They're bunch of murderers distorting the reputation of Islam and they're enemy to us like they're enemy to you . :)

Good on Turkey I suppose. Countries need to be a bit stronger when it comes to people going to Syria. If you do not have a journalistic reason to go, or are in the military, why would you be going? Some countries in Europe are even letting ISIS members back after they decide they don't want to be there. It's Insane!

Hmm, okay. Saudi Arabia still flogs and whips innocent people. Recently a blogger was whipped for critizising Islam. Also, Saudi Arabia is Sunni just as ISIS are, and your country and ISIS share a lot of views (punishment for those who leave Islam, adulterers, etc.).

What's the relevance between this and what I wrote ? I know that blogger took a part in Sweden and he was about causing a political dispute amongst Sweden and Saudi Arabia. |0| lol

Ok.Let me tell you. It's a foregone conclusion matter . That who exceed the laws is deserve punishment .(not only in KSA ,but also in the entire world ) .Simply, that's what happened. They broke the laws and got punishment no body accused them randomly without evidence.Laws above all and we've to respect that.

Regarding to ISIS, it's normal that ISIS have some views close to KSA's views because KSA is the origin of Islam, but it's still nothing more than " religious views " not political views .Which that's mean KSA has nothing with ISIS .:)

This is exactly why Saudi Arabia is a hellhole. In what part of the world is criticizing Islam a crime? The point of the law is to uphold justice. If you don't have the right to free speech, if you have no right to choose your own religion, then the law and justice has failed.

Yeah it's a crime and big crime ,too !
You're talking about 99% Muslims majority in KSA !

If the government doesn't stop those who spread hate, that will create many troubles such as the prevalence of violence between people . It's like the war between white and black people in U.S and other countries .|0| lol

Anyway, people are satisfied with that.Where no one can insult their religion or their government .

You and many people may accept who insult your country or your religion and say " I'm free .I've the right of free speech ", but others people are not.For that reason, people are free to create such strict laws to stop that .:)

No freedom of speech. No freedom of belief. You're not allowed to insult the government. You're not allowed to criticize Islam. The key word here being 'criticize' not hate. I wonder where I've heard that before...

They have shut down on the airlines to certain areas before, I am surprised they have not done so again. It is not all that hard. Set up only one flight that goes to Syria and only those who have special passes can take that flight. The passes would be issued by the government. Anyone else who wants to go without the pass can walk to the border and then be turned around or attempt to sneak across. That would reduce the amount of people trying to join.

No freedom of speech

NO freedom of speech ?

Actually there is no need for your way of speech such as protests or walking in streets to ask for something !

Any Saudi whether he's rich or poor can meet King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz personally and he'll listen from him.:)
There is no constraints between Al saud princes and Saudis. You can take an appointment to meet them if you need to or send a telegraph to their secretaries then you'll get the respond in short time.

No freedom of belief

Freedom of believe in what ? As I mentioned earlier, 99% are Muslims believe in Allah only.

Up to this moment, I don't know what's the objective of insulting the government ?or insulting people in general ? ~^~
Is it an effective way in solving problems ? or it's like pouring oil on fire ?

You can criticize the government in a respectful way by talking to the officials or other ways.At the worst cases(if you didn't receive any positive feedback), you can make a complaint to the ombudsman.

BTW, there is no need for criticizing Islam. It's not fabricated religion to criticize it. The problem not from Islam or religions. The source of problem is people. They don't apply the religions in the right way.For that reason, we find Muslim extremists ,Christian extremists ,Jewish extremists ...etc. Moreover, many people are Muslims by " the name " .They claim that we're Muslims ~$~ ,but in their real life the don't apply or follow Islam.Big gap here.:)

Alright. This debate doesn't seem to go anywhere. Saudi Arabia is a morally bankrupt with no regards for human rights except for it's rich citizens. End of discussion.

Saudis are increasingly and openly discussing government affairs on Twitter and Facebook-a ban on women driving, arbitrary detention of peaceful dissidents and terror suspects, and corruption, among others-but the government in 2011 banned public protests, tightened press laws, and arrested scores of peaceful rights advocates and protesters. Saudi Arabia struggles with a poorly defined and nontransparent justice system based on religion that metes out draconian sentences. Women and minority Shia citizens face systematic discrimination. Immigration and labor restrictions on migrant workers facilitate widespread abuse. Western countries remained largely silent about poor rights conditions in the kingdom.

(Beirut) – The airstrikes by the Saudi Arabia-led coalition that hit a displaced persons’ camp in northern Yemen on March 30, 2015, raised grave concerns about violations of the laws of war. The airstrikes killed at least 29 civilians and wounded 41, including 14 children and 11 women. They hit a medical facility at the camp, a local market, and a bridge, according to initial reports from the World Health Organization.

These are just some of the articles published by the Humans Right Watch organization.

I agree, countries making border with Syria really need to keep their eyes open to catch potential terrorists. Of course they are not disclosing the intentions of those trying to cross the border, that will be subject to investigations.

Before closing the discussion, the debate won't be meaningful as long as you have a fixed image about KSA. By the way,I observed that in your first quote .

Finally, I've no problem my Swedish friend. You can live with that, but make sure that won't offer to your government the opportunity or the right to intervene in our affairs again or it'll taught another lesson .

It may make it harder on those fleeing the country for safety but once they cross they border they know that they are safe because that inconvenience is what is keeping the terrorist out. Wish the people in the US would understand that instead of complaining and fighting whenever there are restrictions put into place. What good is your freedom if your oppressed by terrorist or worse yet, dead?
