The Doha and Ankara arms funds continue to stir unrest in many brotherly countries, most recently Libya.
Libya’s defense and national security committee in Tobruk condemned in a statement Wednesday the interference of Turkey and Qatar in Libya’s internal affairs.
The parliament statement described the two countries’ intervention as “outrageous and unacceptable,” and that it supports terrorism and extremism with money and weapons, adding that it perpetuates chaos in the country.
The parliamentary committee for defense and national security condemned “violations of Turkish warships to Libyan territorial waters and entry to ports and airports in Misrata, Tripoli and Zuwara.
The Libyan army spokesman Major General Ahmed al-Massmari said last Saturday: Turkey is involved in the battle of Tripoli, sending weapons and equipment to terrorists across Malta, pointing out that the terrorist groups get direct support from Turkey, he said.
Libyan military commander Marshal Khalifa Haftar is leading a military campaign under the name of “flood of dignity” to take control of the capital city of Tripoli, which includes the government of Fayez al-Sarraj.
