That opportunity, was purposefully sabotaged by the pro-iran lobby.
Reminds one of the urdu saying "Hum to doobay hain sanam, tumhay bhi lay doobangay".
Hello,

The only way to eliminate these lobbyists and these sympathizers would be to follow in the foot steps of USA during WW1 and how they dealt with the German sympathizers. From nazi marches in the streets to invading berlin. It would be a very good case study for the government to explore.

This includes all lobbyist, including the arab ones.

Anyways I believe this has been derailed far enough. Should open up a new thread on why Pakistan did or did not join the war and everyone can contribute their ideas and theories there. If you could transfer all these comments there, it should be an intresting read.

Wikipedia, seriously?

Pakistan has committed more than 10,000 soldiers to the allied force in Saudi Arabia, but said that they are there mainly to protect the holy places.

I think he meant the egyptians. @mtime7 ?
I thought he implied that we weren't there at all. Infact didnt Pakistan army get into a spat with the states army? Where an officer was shot and then the American officer was shot too along with his patrol?
(I could be mixing up my location with the last sentence here)

Hi,

Feb 27th was a nail in our coffin---.

Pakistan is going to pay a very heavy price for not joining GCC in Yemen---. It would be a miracle that Pakistan comes out unscathed---.

That offer was something that happens once in centuries---.

Sir no offence but Pakistan Govt decision wast quite sane to not directly join Yemen campaign as the coalition is mostly on halt in Yemen and their paid mercenaries are involved in fighting each other instead of Hotis. The KSA can resolve issue with negotiations instead of creating more difficulties by own dumb policies. On other hand Pakistan has the most influential role in coalition by providing greatest strategist and commander Raheel Sharif. Meanwhile reportedly Pak few thousand military personnel already providing technical help to protective duties in KSA.

The Pak Govt can't afford to start a new wave of sectarian violence in Pakistan as at least 20% of Muslim population is of Shia sect and many performing duties at sensitive positions even in military.

It seems you are not aware, of how Pakistnan's military security apparatus works. Lets leave it at that.
