I have no idea of who she is. Is she DEM or REP? Please enlighten me Yildirim?what do you guys think of Jo Jorgensen?
Surely Republicans are a principled lot and they will apply same rules as they did while denying Merrick Garland a vote...... Not!!!Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies at 87
This should weigh on the election
Could not disagree more mtime7. Justice Ruth Ginsburgs' passing, although tragic, will have little or no effect on the election or the results. "He" will probably try to nominate someone very soon before the election and have him or her try to go through the process just in time for the election, but will fail miserably. The process is too long for "Him" to do that now. The DEMS will just stall until after Biden is elected you can bet your US $$ on that, and then they will nominate for the position with someone of their own political ways.completely different circumstances of course, Obama had an opposition Senate, Trump doesn't, the people obviously wanted Trump to appoint as many judicial nominees as possible, the people just didn't have the same faith in Obama. On a side note, Democrats have already took to twitter to threaten to burn shit down if they try to appoint a Justice, what exactly they plan to burn down, I don't know, but they seem to be fire hungry lately. LOL
I may be just a lowly Canadian, but I am seldom wrong. Just over 40 days to go! Then we'll see who's wrong or right.oh, how wrong you are, (but you are Canadian so what should I expect) ha ha.. This will motivate the Republican base, I actually don't think they will try to get someone confirmed, (I think they could if they tried) may make a show of it, but they need this to motivate the voters to go and vote for Trump, even if they have to hold their nose. A lot of conservatives have been waiting a long time to replace that old hag, and they will not want to leave it to whomever is writing what Joe Biden says.
Another tidbit, when Democrats are burning things down, it's good for Trump, so who knows what Mitch will do
Wrong or right about what? If Trump gets a Supreme Court nomination through, if that's the case he has longer than 40 days to get it doneI may be just a lowly Canadian, but I am seldom wrong. Just over 40 days to go! Then we'll see who's wrong or right.
2. The presidential campaign has largely been focused on the pandemic and the economy. That may change. |
The Supreme Court could quickly become a shared focal point for the candidates on issues from abortion and gay rights to religious liberty and environmental regulation. But Joe Biden’s campaign is sticking to what it believes is a winning strategy. Campaign aides said they would seek to link the court vacancy to the future of health care in America. |
With 23 Senate seats held by Republicans on the ballot this fall, the fight over replacing Justice Ginsburg, though centered in Washington, will sprawl across the country. The cash — and lobbying efforts — are flowing. |
