What was offered to PAF 10 years versus what is available now is drastically different (thanks in due to a lot of input from PAF). It has a lot of tech taken from J20 such as RAM coating/net centric capabilities making it 4+.
You also get 2x payload and range with J10C when compared to JF17.
With a matured WS10 engine it will be easy to set up overhaul facilities in Pak to maintain both J10 and J15s.
36 J10 armed with PL10/15 effectively neutralize Indian Rafales (10b Indian investment)

well lets look at it from a different point of view, we already know that PAF have refused to get J-10's before because it didn't came up to their mark, future enhancements to J-10 program has a LOT of input from PAF, lets forget about this for a moment and discuss a different hypothesis

i will give you a personal example from cinema industry, remember the movie Planet Of The Apes? Mandviwalla Entertainment was the distributor in Pakistan and i was working with them at the time, we were literally FORCED to get that movie because of another major release we were buying (can't remember name), so basically it was if you want x you also need to buy y
