The only solution I see is to make this land of Pure part of China, officially. Let the commies sort out the corruption the way they do in their land. Folks in Pak do not have in their dna to change for the better.

I also voted for IK but I have regrets now. It was better not to vote for any of these.
What I have come to conclusion is that he has no balls to do anything. Probably the Reham is rit about him. Also now he has lust for the chair and power which has weakened his stance if he had any.
My Q is,
1. Can we change the system?
With this system it's impossible for anyone.
2. What better option do we have after IK?

Yes ok but the people are responsible for the type of leaders that type them. The people need to take responsibility of their own actions.
It's not plastic bags or sewage thats the filth here, it's the people that give rise to these types of leaders. @Zeeman was trying to state that the people need to take responsibility for their actions and they have to stop waiting for some hero to come and help them.
People of Khi voted for MQM on a city level, who has no funds allocated by PPP / Provincial govt. Majority of votes went to PTI on federal level, who besides rhetoric provides nothing.

FEderal Govt can at least split the funds and give Khi city govt some of the funds it is supposed to give Sindh govt.

You and @Caprxl on this thread are talking theoretically and not practically. Shifting the blame right, left, and center, except on those who were elected on the Federal level and promised to change things. Links already posted earlier. Beisdes going off on tangents and bringing in things like traffic. Which is another infrastructure failure.

Khi being the heart of Pakistan aka mini-Pakistan, should be made a Federal Administered Territory, and MQM, PPP, SOB's kicked out. But 25m people are only good to get votes and revenue from, but to give something back in return is blasphemy.

I dont want to see any more off topic posts from both of you.

18th Amendment. . . & When did I shift the blame?
Not clearing Government Provincial/Federal off their charges/duties

Besides the thread title was/is "Pakistan News & Discussions" how come it was off topic?

Still sincere apologies, every Forum has its Rules & Regulations which ensure its mission values & vision are met & achieved & being her members we are morally obliged to follow them & not to cross those red lines, therefore we are no exception either.

Message received & well understood, will be careful in future. ?

18th Amendment is not word of God, there are loophles in it.

We were discussing the plight of the poor, and you were worried about chaotic traffic.

I thought Karachi was under PTI control. They voted for MQM again? If that's true then they deserve all the calamities that befall them. Personally I don't care for racist bigots that vote for a racist party. So I'm out of this discussion, they deserve this.

Why you running of man? At least tell us what happened after this empty statement?

MNA Ali Zaidi launches Clean Karachi drive, pledges to bring waste down to zero
04 Aug, 2019

If you found above news perhaps a little more research would have given you the answer as well.
Ali Zaidi started this massive job and achieved a lot :

Until Bhutto showed up and demanded all garbage be left where it is as it belongs to Sindh and no one is allowed to usurper Sindh resource.

Sindh government strongly protested and demanded immediate halt to the infringement on their right to pollute and destroy Karachi.
They shouted and screamed in the assembly and demanded that this provenaial right must stay with the province.
WB offered them a billion Rs help and they took over the clean up operation. Rest is that the money disappeard and garbage reappeared ...

Issue is when you carry your religion on your sleeve, and shove your tasbee in people face, then you are inviting people's criticism.

A lot of people use Tasbees, but not like him or Gandapur.

From now on anyone with beard should be taken as someone shoving religion down my throat. Good idea.

No there are loopholes and everytime government pushes for even a small changes
“Pakistan khapay” slogans are raised and other opposition joins in.
With out a constitutional amandement nothing can be done. There are simply no votes to change anything in the parliament.

i m huge pti supporter myself
but burying ur head in sand never helped anyone
as they say road to hell is paved with good intentions
u can never change anything when u start enjoying perks of power.
just coining words like madina ryasat maybe will fool an ignorant person who blindly follows him but not me
i have fair idea about whts going on
ik can never hold the complex tast given to him
if he was man enough he would have taken a stance come wht may no compromise but he capitulated on nawaz
he capitulated on nab
he is weak at heart
we need bold people who can burn it all if necessary
before criticizing anyone concepts one has to read his own beliefs

Thats why we have something called democracy. Feel free to vote PML or PPP next time. Let's bring back the very people who created this problem back to power. May be this time they have changed and will actually solve this problem.

Thank you for proving how impotent PTI is, I'm glad you managed to do this all on your own.
